Long story short, say no to these face wipes!
The idea behind the YESto brand is that their products contain extracts from foods that have skin beautifying properties. The wipes come in cucumber, tomato, blueberry, and I think there may be a carrot one as well. Cucumbers are known for having soothing and calming effects on the skin, and are often used to reduce eye puffiness. These wipes are paraben-free and contain cucumber, aloe vera and Dead Sea mineral salt. Furthermore, they claim to remove makeup, cleanse and nourish the skin. In my opinion, these facial wipes did a pretty awful job at removing foundation and I didn’t even bother trying to use it on my eyes. The reason being, is that the wipes are simply not wet enough for the task and my skin actually felt dryer and more irritated after using them, in fact it even stung a little! On the plus side, they smell fresh and yummy and you could use them to wipe your hands, but I didn’t notice any benefits to my skin, and on top of that it didn’t remove all of my makeup properly. If you have to wash your face after using these, then that basically defeats the purpose for me, as I would have used them on lazy nights. In the future I may purchase something else from the YESto line, but I certainly will not be re- purchasing any of the facial towelettes.
