Review: Upbeat

 Review: Upbeat

Having a busy lifestyle I very often miss breakfast, I am normally too busy running around after the children in the morning, and as I work from home, as soon as I get home from the school run I am keen to get my laptop open to check my emails, and once I start I tend to forget breakfast.  So the idea of a protein fresh drink I can grab to 'fill' the gap, which can be part of a balanced diet, is an appealing one to me. It is also a fab one to drink on the go when out and about, the bottle is quite small and the perfect size to pop into my handbag.Upbeat tastes like yummy fresh milkshake, I found it refreshing, and easy to drink. I enjoyed both flavours, but Mango & Passion fruit was my favorite out of the two. These are definitely something I could drink often, but I would have to hide them (somehow) for the kids, at £1.79 a bottle they are not cheap.Review: UpbeatReview: Upbeat
Upbeat is fresh unlike other protein drinks - Upbeat is made up of 77% whey protein concentrate from milk (British milk), rather than using UHT, it is then made up with fruit juice and natural fruit purée.  It comes with a whole host of benefits:

  • High protein

  • Low fat

  • Natural source of calcium

  • No more than 150 calories

  • Less than half the sugar of leading fruit juices

  • Made from fresh British milk

  • Made with real fruit – natural colours and flavours

  • Suitable for Vegetarians

  • Available flavours:

    • Strawberry
    • Mango & Passion fruit.

Upbeat is available at selected Tesco Extras and Superstores, Holland and Barrett, Ocado, little Waitrose and WHSmith Travel stores. You can check for your nearest stockist by clicking here.

Conclusion: These were gorgeous drinks, they tasted fresh, and they tasted yummy, I will definitely be buying these for the future and I would recommend them to anyone.Disclaimer:  I was sent vouchers to purchase two bottles of Upbeat for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own and completely honest.
