Review: TonyMoly Cutie Beauty BB Cream #Tomboy Chris

By Herugliness
Hello! ~ Today I will review the TonyMoly Cutie Beauty Tomboy Chris BB Cream. I am always very excited when I try out BB Creams from brands I never tried them from before. There are some brands that always seem to make good BB Creams, and then there are some brands where I never seem to like any of them. Of course this always depends onw hat you are expecting and what skin type you are. I for example dislike Missha and SKin79 BB Creams, while many other people seem to love them.  So, obviously, this review is based on my personal experience an opinion.

TonyMoly usually has very unappealing packing design, but then they always manage to catch my interest again by putting cute animals on their otherwise ugly designs. This BB Cream is available in 3 different types, each with an unique name and the blue one I picked - Tonboy Chris - is supposed to be suitable oily and sensitive skin, which sounds just perfect for me. The packing says:
This multi-functional BB cream with non-comedogenic ingredients is safe for sensitive skin as well as delivering anti-wrinkle, whitening and sun protection effects. And this BB cream makes the skin naturally radiant.

I am quite pleased with this BB Cream. It is only available in one shade, which seems to be like made for me. Not too dark, not too light, no weird gray or yellowish undertones.  The coverage is also quite strong for a BB Cream. Usually I prefer lighter textures, but with my skin just being horrible lately, the coverage is exactly what I need. One of the reasons why I usually don't like strong coverage BB Creams is because they texture is so thick and it just feels heavy on the skin, but the TonyMoly Cutie Beauty BB Cream feels pretty light on the skin, so I don't mind the texture at all.
The oil control does not work too amazingly well for me, but then again I have very oily skin. (A full 10 on a scale of 1-10), but it is nothing that a layer of matting powder and a bit of blotting paper from time to time won't fix. Since the texture is rather thick I also have to take care not to use too much of this BB Cream, because otherwise my face ends up looking caked. I think I can add TonyMoly to my list of "BB Cream brands I like" :) Maybe this isn't my most favorite BB Cream ever, but it would probably make it into my top 10.
