Review: Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask

By Herugliness
Hello! ~ A while back I did a review of the Skinfood Egg White Pore Foam. I liked this product a lot and decided to try out other products from the same line. This time I will review the Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask for you. The mask comes in a small pot containing 100g. There is nothing special about the product's design. The top label can be opened and inside you will find a complete ingredient list both in Korean and in English.Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask ReviewSkinfood Egg White Pore Mask ReviewSkinfood Egg White Pore Mask Ingredient ListWhen I opened the pot I only around 2/3 of it were actually filled with the mask. The mask seems scent-free (even though there is fragrance in it. But I really cannot smell anything) and is white. I thought it wasn't really much and would not last me long, 6-7 times the most. However, I was very wrong. The texture of the mask is extremely thick. I guess part of it is because of the Xantgan Gum, which serves as  thickening agent and stabilizer. Describing it is kind of hard, it makes me think of cement? Because of the texture you only need a very small amount to cover your face. I have been using the mask for weeks now and I didn't even use up half of it.Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask ReviewSkinfood Egg White Pore Mask ReviewSkinfood Egg White Pore Mask ReviewThis mask is supposed to be a "pore-refining cleanser with egg white extract that penetrates deeply into pores to remove pore-clogging oil". I really like how my skin looks and feels right after I have used the mask. I was a bit worried it might irritate my skin, with alcohol being a main ingredient, but it is quite the opposite: Whatever redness I might have had on my skin, they seem much lesser after I used the mask. If there is some kind of visible long-time effect it is very small, but I never expected any miracles to begin with. Possibly my pores around my cheek area might have gotten a bit smaller, but I would not attest to it. I still like to use this mask a lot and considering how it lasts for ages it's well worth its money.
