Review: Skin79 Green Tea Mist Toner

By Herugliness
Hello! ~ This time I will make a brief review of the Skin79 Green Tea Mist Toner. The toner comes in a green pump-spray glass bottle. Skin79 really doesn't have too great packing designs, though I don't find this one to be such a great turn-off as some other products and feel rather neutral about the packing. The bottle contains only 60ml. A number is hard to imagine, so imagine your average-sized toner bottle - 60ml is about half the size, so you aren't getting a lot of product for your money.Skin79 Green Tea Mist Toner ReviewSkin79 Green Tea Mist Toner Review
The Skin79 Green Tea Mist Toner is supposed to be best suited for skin with excessive oils and sebum, troubled skin, dry skin and skin that needs hydration after make-up. It can be used like a normal toner, but can also be sprayed over your makeup if you feel like your skin feels dry. Since I have oily and not dry skin I never tried it this way, but used it like a normal toner. The toner itself is a clear liquid and is heavily scented, but the scent is quite pleasant and "fresh".Skin79 Green Tea Mist Toner ReviewSkin79 Green Tea Mist Toner ReviewSkin79 Green Tea Mist Toner ReviewI love green tea products as they are usually very good for my skin. The Green Tea extract are supposed to control the balance of oil and moisture to keep your skin non-oily and fresh. White Tea extracts are supposed to moisture and nutrition your skin. The product comes out of the bottle as a very fine mist and makes your skin feel super fresh! I loved it as a fresh booster during hot days, where it felt really pleasant on my skin, but now that it is turning cold I don't find the feeling too thrilling anymore. ^^, It gets absorbed into your skin fast and doesn't leave any kind of unpleasant trace. My main problem with this product however is that I think "oil control" and "moisturising"  are things that do not go well together in the same product. If I have very dry skin I don't need oil control, if I have oily skin, I don't want an extra moisturizer. Now you could think that this product goes well with combined skin, but my personal experience with the Skin79 Green Tea Mist Toner  was that it made my skin feel really fresh and was good for moisturizing, but that it did absolutely nothing for my oily skin nor my "troubled skin". Even after using this twice a day for a long time my skin was just as oily/greasy as ever and my breakouts were as bad as ever. This product is probably a good product for people with normal and/or dry skin, but I would not recommend it for very oily skin types or people who hope it might improve troubled skin.Review: Skin79 Green Tea Mist Toner Very refreshingFast absorbtionGood moisturizerPleasant scent
