REVIEW || Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer
This week I had my prom, and as part of my prom preparation I needed to make sure my makeup was going to last for the full 5 hours including when I hit the dance floor. Being unorganised I rushed into Superdrug in the morning thinking "I'll pick up the MUA primer" but they were out of stock, so in a panic I picked the primer closest to me and that happened to be this one.
I hadn't seen any reviews of this before so I was going in slightly blind, but I can honestly say I am so so impressed! This retails for £4.99 and is single handedly the best eyeshadow primer I have ever used. I applied this at 3 o'clock and it needed to last until midnight, and it did. Because it was prom and the last time a lot of us would be together it is safe to say we all went a bit crazy when we hit the dancefloor and I was so hot! I remember thinking, my makeup is just going to run off my face, but even at midnight my eyeshadow had not budged and looked exactly the same! Even my eyeliner which usually runs down my face if left on to long was still in place. I was super impressed.

This primer comes in a tube and has a dofut applicator. The applicator slants towards the end and that makes it easier to apply to the eyelids. I applied this with the applicator and then patted it into my lids with my ring finger. With this primer you have to apply and then let it dry before applying your eyeshadow on top, and it only takes 10/15 seconds to dry if that which is great, so you don't have to wait around whilst your primer dries.
REVIEW || Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow PrimerWhen swatched the primer is a slightly shimmery white colour, although this does not affect they eyeshadow on top and it doesn't make it look at all glittery. This has quite a thin liquidy texture, which at first made me quite skeptical but it honestly doesn't slide off of the lids or anything like that. This texture also makes it easier to blend.

I also did two of my other friends' makeup and used this primer and like me, they both have oily skin and our eyeshadow was still present at the end of the night which is fantastic. For only £4.99 this is a bargain for a good eyeshadow primer and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good primer!
Thanks for reading
