Review: Peripera Perfume Nail #P027 Metallic Green

Hello! ~♥Today I will show you the Peripera Perfume Nail in P027 Metallic Green. I had a few nail colors from Peripera before, but they were all from their Rose Nail line. I always liked them, loved the design, the colors and thought they were of very good quality. So it was only a matter of time till I tried one of their Perfume Nail nail colors. There are two things really special about this nail color line and the first one is the neat design: The cap has the shape of a cat. Sadly the cat isn't exactly extraordinary cute, but it is still a nice idea.
The second special thing is that the Peripera Perfume Nail is supposed to have a rose scent after drying on your nails! I can already tell you that this isn't really noticeable. I even asked some friends for their opinion, because I could not smell any rose scent - or any kind of scent other than nail color - at all and they all agreed. It does not smell too bad for a nail color. Some do have a really unpleasant scent after all. But it still doesn't smell like any kind of perfume. I was a bit disappointed about it, but it's no big deal, I can live without my fingertips smelling like roses. :)

P027 Metallic Green is an awesome color, a shimmering metallic green with a light blue hue. It is a bit different from the nail color I usually use, because I like to stick to pastel shades, but even I like some variation from time to time. If you know my usual nail color reviews you know that I like to use a nail wheel for displaying the colors, because my own nails don't look all too great. This time I actually got a friend to model the nail color for me! Laya has a shared blog together with another friend of mine, where she is reviewing lots of nail colors. Her photos were taken with a daylight lamp, but since the blue hue this color has only really is visible in sunlight, I also made some photos of it on a nail wheel, where it looks more turquoise:
The color changes nicely depending on the light. (and obviously using different cameras also plays a part in this, but I find both photos very accurate).
Like all Peripera nail colors I have tried so far, this one is easy to apply and gives you full coverage with just one layer.  Sadly the wear of this color is really poor! The first time I used it with a base and big chunks started to chip off after just a few hours! The next time I tried it without any base and it worked better, but I still already had tipwear the next day. This is really disappointing, because otherwise the Peripera Perfume Nail would be awesome!I still have a different shade from this line to try out, but if it has the same weak wear I will stick to the Peripera Rose Nail line, because this one is awesome.
