Review - Nightwing Shower Jelly from Lush

By Megan91 @Little_norris91
The kind of jelly you probably shouldn't eat, but it is amazing to wash with!
As you have probably seen all over bloggers Instagrams and youtube channels Lush's Halloween collection has been amazing! I thought I would show you Nightwing Shower Jelly which my boyfriend bought for me a few weeks ago.
Review - Nightwing Shower Jelly from Lush
I had heard a lot of things about this product so couldn't wait to give it a try. First of all it's bat shaped, oh yes jelly in the shape of a bat!
When opening up the packaging the smell hits you -like any other Lush product. This smells a lot like blackcurrant with a hint of lime which is such a wonderful scent. It is actually aloe vera and lime juice, but somehow it makes it smell like blackcurrent. Who knows how this happens! Nightwing in the shape of a bat
Upon first use it was very difficult to work out how to hold this product - like any real life bat you really can't hold it for long! Thankfully Nightwing doesn't bite but it does slip out of your hands very quickly when water is applied to it!
Thankfully after a few uses the bat fell apart into three smaller segments which made life so much easier! It was then small enough to fit in the palm of my hand so I could use a puff to lather it up.

It really does lather up really well too, creating a lovely bubbly blackcurrant body wash. The bubbles and liquid are grey/black which is a bit strange and it also means you have to mind where the bubbles land as if they get onto your bath/shower you will have to wipe it off before it dries.
I love this product and will definitely be trying out some of their other shower jelly's, as it is a fun and unique concept - like 99% of the products Lush sell. You can still buy this product too, I would definitely recommend it! They even have one called Santa's Belly which I may have to try!
Have you tried any of the other Shower Jelly's - what did you think?x
