Review: Lioele Speedy Oneshoot BB Cleanser

By Herugliness
Hello! This is a review of the Lioele Speedy Oneshoot BB Cleanser. This product is available in two different versions: One in a handy pump-dispenser bottle containing 135ml and one in a normal plastic bottle with 55ml only. I bought the smaller 55ml bottle to try out this product.

The description on the bottle is all Korean, but you can find English product descriptions on Lioele's English websites: The Lioele Speedy Oneshoot BB Cleanser is a makeup-remover, which is supposed to gently removes traces of adhesive BB cream. A lather like whipped-cream is supposed to thoroughly wash away makeup and impurities, leaving skin soft and soothed. It is also said that the oil transforms into a rich, mild foam upon contact with water and that the product gives your skin a fresh feeling of moisture due to ingredients like natural vegetable oil, which soothes skin and forms a moisture barrier.
When you first look at the product it is hard to believe that it is supposed to create a lathe like whipped-cream, because the appearance of this cleanser is the one of clear water, though the texture is rather the one of oil. Like all Lioele face care/cleansing products I have tried so far, the Lioele Speedy Oneshoot BB Cleanser has a significant perfume-like scent. I find the idea of a cleanser having such a strong artificial scent a bit off-turning, but have to admit that the scent itself is very much to my liking (though rather as a perfume, not a cleanser).

You are supposed to dispense an adequate amount of the cleanser and gently massage the face with the foam using a circular upward motion. However, I must say that, after reading of a "lather like whipped-cream" the result was very disappointing. It's far away from resembling anything like whipped cream, in fact it can hardly be described as "foam".

Even though the so-called foam does not live up to its description at at all, it is still sufficient and you can get enough of it with using just a tiny amount of the product. Given what little amount I used I was actually surprised how my face was indeed cleaned thoroughly! After cleansing my face with this cleanser once and going over it with a cotton pad there was not one single trace of BB cream left on the pad, so I am rather impressed.
The cleanser seemed mild in the sense that it did not sting in my eyes at all, but I still had the feeling that my skin felt a bit tense and rather dry after using it. For me that's not a big problem, because my ski is extremely oily to begin with, but for people with dry skin this product might not be ideal.
