Review: Lioele Glittering Jewel Liner #02 Brown

By Herugliness
Hello! ~ It is strange that I rarely use Lioele products, because I actually like them quite a lot. Their selection of products isn't all too big, but the ones they have are so nicely packed, and that's always a hook-up for me, so I have obtained quite a few Lioele products over time. This is a review of the Lioele Glittering Jewel Liner in 02 Brown, which is supposed to be a Mocha Brown with jewel pearl glitter.Lioele claims this to be creamy textured, highly pigmented, waterproof, smudge-proof and long-lasting. It is vailable in 10 different shades of 1.2g each.

The eyeliner is indeed quite creamy, but at the same time also kind of crumbly and this makes it hard or even impossible to get a completely sharp end (In fact the tip is round and not sharp even when you get the new product). Therefore you cannot draw very thin lines with it and this product is more suitable for a more dramatic look with a thick eyeliner, possibly smudged in with a matching eyeshadow. I understand the point of it though, because if you just draw a thin like with this, you won't see any glitter at all. Still it isn't really what I like.

The tip looks a nice medium-shaded brown and so do the swatches on my hand, but I believe that the color appears to be much darker - almost black - on the eyes and the glitter is very very decent. If you buy this product because of the "Glittering Jewel" you might be disappointed, but for me the level of  glitter is alright.
The waterproof and smudge-free aspect of this eyeliner works really well, but I never really have a problem with smudging eyeliners to begin with. Overall an average product, depending on what you want. For my taste the actual color on the eye is too dark, the eyeliner crumbles too much for me and the fact that you cannot use it for fine lines is also a bit disappointing. I threw this away after just using half if it, because I grew too frustrated with it.
