Hello! ~♥ Today I would like to review the Innisfree Eco Nail Color in shade #147 Sand Blue for you. The Innisfree Eco Nail Color is a huge line by Innisfree which includes all kinds of nail colors, may it be of different shades or different textures and effects. Each of them contains 10ml of product and comes in a very simple-looking bottle. They are supposed to have an orange scent, though I did not notice any of it.
At the end of last year I discovered my deep love for sand effect nail colors. I know I am really late to the party. I've tried out some German drug store brand sand effect nail colors and was amazed how you could get a full coverage glitter nail with just one layer and how easy they were to apply. Unfortunately the drug store range is very limited in colors, so I searched the Asian market for sand nails in different shades. I did not find too many, though Innisfree offered a couple of them in their Eco nail line. #147 Sand Blue is a beautiful medium blue shade with lots of tiny turquoise and golden particles.
Compared to the German drug store sand nails the coverage of the Innisfree Eco Nail Color wasn't as excellent. While the German ones gave me full coverage with just one layer, with this one I need 2 or even 3 layers for a full coverage. However, it works quite well with a different nail color as base and one layer as a topcoat too.
In comparison to the German drug store nail colors this one also started to chip off really fast and I needed to fix it up after the first day already. The advantage of sand effect nail colors is that lazy people like me, who don't insist on their nails looking perfect, can just paint over the area where the color chipped off and because of the texture it is hardly noticeable.
Overall I am not too unhappy with this nail color. The color is really pretty, it is easy to work with and two layers can give you a decent effect. Just wish it would last a bit longer. Affordable pricePretty colorNeeds 2-3 layers for full coverage
