The Holika Holika Medi-Medi Magnesium Pack is a pore clearing wash-off mask and contains Magnesium Oxide and Volcanic Ash Extract, which is supposed to clean pores and treat your skin. It is also supposed to improve skin texture and make it softer and smoother, as well as reduce blackheads and whiteheads.

The mask has a dense cream-like texture and is almost white, with a hint of mint green. It appears completely scent-less to me, even though the ingredient list shows that it contains some kind of fragrance.

You are supposed to apply it after washing your face, leave on 10-15 minutes and then wash it off. It is very easy to apply and you need only a small amount to cover your face. After only 5 minutes it will start drying (it depends a bit on how thick the layer you applied is). I am used to some clay wash-off masks which will start making your face feel a bit dense once they start drying, or in worse case tiny parts start crumbling off when you move your face just a little bit and leave it feeling dry once you wash off the mask, but this one stays on well, the surface of the dried mask feels a bit powder-like and overall doesn't cause any unpleasant feeling, neither during or after wearing the mask.

Maybe I am a bit biased here, because I adore all kind of clay face masks, but I have the feeling that right after using it, my face, and especially inflamed pimples, looked less red than before. Most of all I am someone who usually has new pimples each single morning I wake up, but when I used the Holika Holika Medi-Medi Magnesium Pack before going to sleep, I had not a single new pimple / bleakhead / whitehead the next morning, which is good enough for me to praise this product. I am not sure my skin feels any softer or smoother, even after using it multiple times, but that was not the primary effect I was hoping for, but rather the reduction of all the black- and whiteheads I get each day, and, as far as I can tell, the Medi-Medi Magnesium Pack really had this effect on my skin.
