For a few years now as more and more of my friends and acquaintances have had children, I’ve noticed lots of photos popping up all over social media of babies posed with ‘Milestone’ cards, announcing that they’ve rolled over for the first time, or cut that first tooth. I’ve always thought they were pretty cute and looked forward to doing the same myself!
Recently I was gifted some similar cards, but nothing to do with baby milestones – these are Mummy Milestone Cards! The premise is similar of course, it’s about meeting those all important milestones as a mommy – with a good pinch of humor thrown in!
Instead of significant events in your babies life, they mark the momentous parts of life that only come with being a new mum!
Things such as those early joys like brushing you teeth before midday, getting out of your pajamas and dealing with your first poo explosion.
Or later goals like fitting into your pre-pregnancy jeans and trimming your babies tiny fingernails!
The packs also contain a couple of blank cards for you to write your own milestone – this was one of mine!
The cards are fun and playful and are a light hearted humorous look at motherhood. I think they’d be perfect for any new mom and a great baby shower gift!
