The packing is, like the rest of this collection, really beautiful. It is white with curly writings on it and a lace pattern on the cap. The pencil is made of plastic and not twist-able, which means you have to use a sharpener on plastic, which I don't like much. While this keeps the lead from breaking, it is always hard to keep the pencil sharp in my opinion.
#BR404 Sunset Brown is a beautiful rich brown with a hint of red though. I love how strongly pigmented the pencil is. One loose line and you get a strong, dark line. Due to the creamy texture of this pencil it is really easy to apply, though you cannot draw super-thin lines easily. You are supposed to be able to use this both as eyeliner and as eyeshadow.
The Etude House Rose Drawing Show Creamy Pencil is supposed to be waterproof and strong against water and sweat. I did a test by first holding the swatch under the running water tap and nothing happened at all. The eyeliner staid on perfectly. Then I repeated the same and started smudging - still nothing. I am amazed by how water-resistant this product is. For me the waterproof aspect of an eyeliner isn't very important as smudging due to water/sweat on my eyes never seems to be a problem for me, but if you are looking for a good waterproof pencil, this one is prefect.
I really like this product: The color is beautiful, though slightly too reddish for my taste, the texture is perfect, the pigmentation is very strong. I just wish it was twist-able, but other than that it is among one of the best eyeliners I have ever tried.
