Review: Etude House Magic Bubble Peeling

By Herugliness
Hello! ~ I am finally getting around reviewing another of the many items I bought at a Etude House store during my last Japan visit, the Etude House Magic Bubble Peeling.  I always love trying out something new, and I never had a peeling like this before. The peeling comes in a cute purple 120ml can which strongly resembles a whipped cream can.
Formulated with milk, cellulose powder and enzymes to whiten complexion and remove oil, dirt and excess for baby soft, smooth skin. its thick, creamy texture is delicate to the skin. Foams thick like whipping cream for a soft facial massage.
How to Use:
1. Shake and hold bottle with its top facing down when dispensing.
2. Pump to dispense and apply foam to face, massaging thoroughly across entire surface for 3 minutes.
3. Rinse excess off with warm water.
4. Use 1~2 times per week.

The peeling comes in the form of foam, which is very unusual. The foam is scented, but I cannot place my finger on what the scent is supposed to be like. It seems slightly artificial, but not too unpleasant. The weirdest thing about the scent is that it is nothing you would expect face care products to smell like, it's just a really unusual scent, making me think of fresh cut wood or something similar

At first I was confused about how foam should work as a peeling. There are no grains in the foam at all, nothing that could peel of dead skin cells. However, once you start rubbing the foam off you can see small "pellets" on your skn if there was some kind of dirt on the skin. If I use the peeling on my thoroughly cleaned face, nothing happens. If I have something like makeup leftovers or any kind ofcream on my face, it will peel it off by turning it into these small grains:

Overall I am quite pleased with the Etude House Magic Bubble Peeling. It works well on my skin and I believe  this to be a very mild, yet efficient peeling. I am not sure I can tell an overall improvement of my skin condition, at least not regarding the great amount of breakouts I am having lately (not due to this product, it started much earlier and I cannot really figure out what is causing it), but my skin feels soft and refreshed after using this and the only downside I can think of is that massaging your face for 3 minutes is a bit tiresome, but since this is not supposed to be a daily peeling it is not too bad. What I also had to get used to is that the foam disappears pretty much as soon as you start massaging, so it feels like you are not having any product on your face at all while massaging.
I would consider repurchasing this or trying out other products from the same line.
