The product comes in a rather big and clumsy looking pot containing 180ml of cream. The design really isn't anything to get excited about.
What I really do not like about this product is that you have to use your hands to dispense the cream. That's probably the most unhygienic possible solution. Obviously I wash my hands before using it, but after a while I could still see that dirt had gotten into the pot. It has the exact same scent as the Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing cream, which I liked a lot. Very decent, hardly noticable, with a pleasant hint of citrus, that does not seem artificial at all. Usually I am not a fan of citrus scents, but this one makes me think of citrus aroma you put into cake!
The texture is just exactly like the one of a not oily facial cream. I never had a cream-type facial cleanser before, so I was really curious.
Applying it on the face is really easy and to my great surprise it is, while really efficient, very mild. A lot of cleansing products will burn when they get into contact with your eyes, but this doe
sn't burn at all. I suppose that it might be the case because this cleansing cream was not containing any kind of alcohol, like liquid or foam cleansers usually do, but since the ingredient list is in Korean only I can only guess.
The direction says to clean your face with cleansing foam after using this product, but for a light-textured BB Cream, this product is enough to clean your face and all I add after it is a toner. It also seems like you can skip the cream step in your daily face care routine, though I usually don't use any cream anyway, so I cannot tell how well that works out.The one thing I miss in comparison to the BB Ceep Cleansing Foam is that this doesn't have any kind of powder grains in it, which just seemed to give me that extra kick of appearing very efficient with the foam, because the fine powder grains gave me the illusion of removing more dirt/dead skin etc. So, because of this, and because of how unhygienic the Pore Cleansing cream is, I prefer the cleansing foam to this one, though, according to Etude, you are supposed to use this one first and the other one right after. If you use a lot of makeup like heavy foundation using some kind of additional cleanser is probably a good idea, for light makeup this product alone works good enough for me.
