Hello! ~♥This is a review of the ElishaCoy BB All In One Cleanser. I had been considering to purchase this product for a while, so I am glad I got multiple samples of this to try out. The full size version comes in a handy 200ml pump dispenser bottle. ElishaCoy writes about this product:
This all-in-one cleanser combines the primary cleansing and secondary cleansing functions. The soft and rich lather eliminates dead skin cells for cleaner skin care.So, with this product you are supposed to be able to skip any additional products you might have used for makeup removal. The moment I opened the first sachet the first thing I noticed was the very strong scent, like the one of a very heavy fragrant cream. It's the more surprising that the product is actually a clear liquid, basically looking like water. It looks orange on the official product images, maybe it also does so in real, I cannot tell, because on my skin the color really looks transparent. It looks so harmless, but the heavy fragrance is a big turn-off for me.
When you massage the product on your skin you are supposed to remove makeup by doing so and then, in a second step, you are supposed to add water to it so it creates a lather for your secondary cleansing step. I have tried a lot of cleansing products that, even though they were not specifically labelled as makeup removers, were able to do the job perfectly fine, so this does not seem super special to me. I could get my face really clean with this product, but didn't really like how it stung in my eyes. This BB All in One cleaner also claims to have no irritant natural ingredients like betaine, linden flower or rose mary, just doesn't mention all the artificial additional ingredients that are in this product. I hate it when products want to appear as if they were all natural, but really aren't. Just having a few natural ingredients does not automatically make it a healthy "all natural" product! The fact that it stings quite a lot when I get it near my eyes and the super heavy scent don't really make me feel like I was using a mild product at all. The sammple only lists a few (natural ) ingredients, but I I found an ingredient list online that lists sodium laureth sulfate as one of the main ingredient of this product and sodium laureth sulfate strips off the natural oils of your skin and erodes the skin in an attempt to clean it. It contains a carcinogen substance known as Dioxane, which, when accumulated in your body, is suspected to become cancerous. So much for "no irritant natural ingredients"...
Can't say this product convinced me. If you do not have sensible skin and are not easily disturbed by heavily scented products this might be worth a try for you. I will pass.
