Review: Dear Laura Pa Nail Color #A110

By Herugliness
Hello! ~ This is a review of the Dear Laura Pa Nail Color #A110, which I bought during my last trip to Japan. Unfortunately it seems kind of hard to get Pa nails outside of Japan, even though they are such a huge brand there with literally hundreds of different colors in their permanent selection. I did a review of a Pa nail before and liked it a lot.

Pa nail colors come in a simple glass bottle with a white cap and the brand's logo on it. Sadly there is nothing fancy to be seen here. #A110 looked like a beautiful light purple and gold shimmering nail color. In the bottle it looked like one of the most beautiful nail colors I have ever seen and I woudl really love to have that effect on my nails.

The brush is kind of thin and small, but still okay and easy to apply. However, the big disappointment came when I applied it on my nails. While the Pa nail color I tried before was actually solid color that gave me full coverage with just one layer, the #A110 nail color doesn't have any color at all. There is zero coverage with just one layer and all you get are a few tiny sparkles. A second layer doesn't help much and only with a third layer you actually start to see something, even though the result is far from what it looked like in the bottle.Dear Laura Pa Nail Color #A110 ReviewThe Dear Laura Pa Nail Color #A110 doesn't seem to contain any color at all, but turned out to be a transparent nail laquer with tiny sparkles in it. The end result has kind of a goldish hue, but you don't really see anything of the purple shade at all
Given the fact that the color doesn't even look like in the bottle and that you have to apply 3 or even 4 layers to have any visible result art all I don't even find this appealing as a topcoat. Very disappointing.
