caudalie polyphenol fluid

Hello lovelies,

here’s the final product from Polyphenol C15 line. It is Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid SPF20.

The full sized product comes in a 40 ml tube and it retails for GBP 29. You can get it from feelunique. I am using a GWP sized 15 ml tube. I’ve been using it for a month, every day, and there’s still some product left.

My main skin concern is dehydrated, often flaky skin. My skin is oily/combination, but as I’m getting older (27 years at the moment) my skin is more easily dehydrated. I rarely brake out, but I can experience hormonal acne here and there. I still don’t have any visible wrinkles (other than naturally occurring lines under eyes). Caudalie Polyphenol C15 products are not miracle-makers but they did solve a majority of my skin issues.

Description says that Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti-Wrinkle Protect Fluid SPF 20 “moisturises, protects from free radicals and corrects wrinkles. The skin looks fresh, plumped up and is protected against external aggressions”. The key ingredients are grape polyphenols, hyaluronic acid, glycerin, UV filters and stabilised vitamin C.

INGREDIENTS:

Aqua (Water), Octocrylene, Ethylhexyl Salicylate (Octisalate), Heptyl Undecylenate*, Dimethicone, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate), Glycerin*, Isoamyl Laurate*, Dicaprylyl Carbonate*, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Avobenzone), Glyceryl Stearate Citrate*, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Squalane*, Polyglyceryl-3 Stearate*, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Hydrogenated Lecithin*, Palmitoyl Grape Seed Extract*, Benzyl Alcohol, Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum*, Tocopherol*, Caprylyl Glycol, Parfum (Fragrance), Hyaluronic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Phytate*, Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol.

* Plant origin

This cream, along with Detox oil, is a true gem of the collection. That doesn’t mean that I don’t like other two products, but these two are approaching HG status.

The cream has strong fruity fragrance. I find it very pleasant, but this might not be the case with others. The fragrance disappears upon application.

The cream has a pretty light formula, but it is surprisingly rich. I only need to use small amount, but I don’t save on it since I want to get the SPF protection.

The cream takes some time to sink in, so keep that in mind if you want to apply make-up over it. I’d suggest waiting for at least half an hour.

It is super moisturizing – immediately upon application my skin feels smoother and looks healthier. It solves flaky skin in a second. However, I think it might be too rich for those with oily skin. Even I find it a bit too much on warm days. On the other hand, I have a feeling that those with dry and normal skin will love it.

I can’t comment on how it works for deep lines, but the fluid plumps up the skin and works great to reduce dehydration lines.

I’m planning to purchase a full size of this cream for winter. SPF 20 will be sufficient for a weak winter sun while its moisturizing properties will protect it from cold and harsh wind.

xoxo Tamara
