Hello! ~♥ This is a review of the Canmake Moist Souffle Shadow #02 Mocha Brown. I bought this eyeshadow in Japan quite a while ago, but did not manage to review it until now.
This eyeshadow is available in 3 different shades (Cream Oink, Mocha Brown and Honey Hold) and comes in a simple, but beautiful packing. It's transparent and diamond shaped, so exactly the right mix of feminine and elegant.
Canmake advertises this as an eyeshadow with "a soft, airy texture like a soufflé". The texture is indeed very nice, like a dessert mousé. It's super soft and creamy and the texture is much lighter than I expected and therefore very easy to blend.#Mocha Brown ins a beautiful warm brown, with golden shimmer in it. Due to how sheer it can be, it can appear more light gold than brown when worn.
The Canmake Moist Souffle Shadow contains 7 beautifying and moisturizing agents, which are hyaluronic acid, royal jelly extract, honey, squalane, rosemary extract, aloe vera leaf extract, saxifrage extract. So it is not only a decorative, but also a skin care product at the same time! The final result, especially if blended, can look a quite sheer. You mostly just see a hint of brown/gold with some shimmer, but it is buildable so that multiple layers can give you a more intense result and I personally prefer the more natural, sheer look. For the swatch above I used only a tiny amount of the product, as this goes better with my preference of a natural makeup. If you want a stronger result, you will need to use quite a lot of the product, so I guess the eyeshadow won't last all that long. For the way I use it, the eyeshadow last really long though. I have seen negative reviews of this based on the fact that the result on the eyes can be so sheer, but I personally like a product that can be used both ways. Beautiful packing
