Review: Avéne - Soothing Hydrating Serum

Review: Avéne - Soothing hydrating serum
I have very sensitive skin that is prone to eczema and irritation, which can get quite sore now and then. Because of this I am always on the hunt for new skin products to try out, that are not only kind to my skin, but also nourishing without irritating it - I found this in the Avéne - Soothing hydrating serum.

I am a big fan of serums, they are an important element to my skin care routine as I suffer from dry and sensitive skin and moisturizing alone is not enough, I find using a serum injects that extra moisture needed to keep my skin nourished. I have tried a few serums over the years, and where some irritated my skin, I found that with Avéne it didn't.

My experience:

Once I cleanse my skin, I then apply one pump of the Avène soothing hydrating serum to my face, the serum instantly sinks into the skin, leaving a silky and smooth texture.  Finally I apply my moisturiser.  I do this in the morning and in the evening everyday. Also it is important to note that I was trialling Avéne over a period when I was on a lot of medication (anti-inflammatory and strong painkillers) which affected my skin and my skin flared up and got very sore, when applying this serum I found it soothed and revitalised my skin. Throughout the day I would also dab the sore parts of my face with a little bit of serum, which helped sooth it.

Avéne is an intensive soothing and hydrating serum for sensitive skin, this soothing hydrating serum is highly concentrated with the patented Avène thermal spring water system which offers an immediate calming effect. It is also Paraben free.

You can buy Avéne - Soothing hydrating serum at Escentual currently at the reduced price of £14.45.
