So it’s been roughly a month since I last embarked on my brightening journey. If you recalled my blog post here, I wrote about how much darker I’ve become since my Australia trip and I badly wanted to regain my fairness in the shortest possible time.
My regime was as such:
20/12 – Nivea UV whitening serum
22/12 – SKII Cellumination Essence EX
23/12 – SKII Facial Treatment Essence
24/12 – Kinohimitsu J’pan UV Bright Drink
I am pretty enthusiastic when it comes to skincare. I apply SKII Facial Treatment Essence twice a day and SKLL Cellumination Essence EX once at night. I use Nivea UV whitening serum diligently for 2 weeks before I stop. I drink a bottle of Kinohimitsu J’pan UV Bright Drink per day for 1 week before I change to once every 3 days or so. Let’s just say I am not totally strict on this regime, but I feel that this should be enough for results to show should there by any.
I’m particularly very bothered by the fact that I lost my glow after the trip. The dullness of the skintone makes me look pale and sick. Not even close to any glowing tan that I see on celebs. So other than regaining my fairness, I’m actually more concern about regaining the inner glow that I once own.
And here’s the result after one month!
I am definitely seeing an obvious result on my face than on my body. I’m still a shade away from my original skintone but I’m already regaining the glow I’ve lost. I no longer look as pale as the me when I first touch down in Singapore. I attribute this glow to SKII. The skin is so much hydrated and balance after using it. I can’t remember when I started seeing result exactly, but it must have been around 2 weeks time or so. At least, before I started work, I have people commenting that I seem darker now. But after starting work this year, nobody has yet to comment about that. So I guess I’m slowly back to “normal” by then.
My body has lighten by half a shade or 1? It is definitely slower. Sad to say, I feel that Nivea whitening serum didn’t work for me. I didn’t see an obvious result after 2 weeks. I have no idea if the Kinohimitsu drink work either, but I would like to believe it does (albeit not a lot) since it is pretty expensive. :p It is really yummy though! I wouldn’t mind drinking it everyday.
