Repurchased Skincare Items

Skincare that I have repurchased and will continue doing so.

Hey all,In this blog post, I am going to talk about products that I have repurchased. Emptying a skincare product and repurchasing it is a big deal for me. With so many new products out in the industry, and my wish-list constantly increasing, I always look for products better than what I tried, when I finish a product. So, repurchasing a product, means that I really love it, is great value for money and works with my budget and my skin. And sometimes, despite a product working well on my skin, if it is not in my budget, I would not repurchase it.

All these products have worked well in all ways, for me.1. Stratia skincare’s liquid gold – I have repurchased this little gem 4 or maybe even 5 times. It is a great product both in performance and budget. It does not have any active ingredients and sometimes, my skin simply needs just that. It is emollient, moisturizing and is a great occlusive. It is simple, but best! I plan on repurchasing it again.

2. Epionce lytic plus TX lotion - This was recommended to me by a friend, when I was struggling with harmonal breakout. It did not do much for my crazy breakout and the fault is not with the product, but with my harmonal imbalance. There is only so much a topical cream could do. But, once my harmones were under control, I have been loving this product for having kept these tiny bumps or texture on my skin at bay. I have repurchased this twice since then. I think my skin has gotten used to it. So once I finish this tube, I will give a break, may be use other acids for a while before getting another tube. 

3. Indeed labs hydraluron moisture jelly - This product is simplicity at its best. It is a basic hyaluronic acid gel. I layer it over my essence and under moisturizer. Usually sandwiched between layers of mist. It provides hydration, helps my skin retain moisture. I cant say enough good things about this product! The only con is that I go through it way too quickly! I am planning on getting multiples of this serum, once I go through my current hydrating serums.4. Sunday Riley good genes - This serum was such a godsend for me. It was just around the time I started taking my skincare routines and products seriously, that this product was hyped and praised. It absolutely deserves everything. I got to try a  ml sample of this serum and loved how bright my skin looked. I purchased a full size of it and happily started using it. Though, I am currently giving my skin a break from it, to use up a few other acids that I had accumulated. I cant wait to get back to using it. I already have purchased back ups for this serum!5. Sunday Riley U.F.O. - This is another gem from the brand "Sunday Riley". I got the first bottle for free through a campaign run by the brand. It cleared up  my skin considerably! It has about 1.5% salicylic acid, which is a beta hydroxy acid that helps in clearing out the skin by chemically exfoliating it. I was so impressed that I finished the first bottle and purchased another one. I dont use it everyday, but when my skin feels congested, or when I feel an acne brewing under the skin. I love it and will repurchase it.6. Bioderma sensibio micellar water - This product is a cult favorite and has every reason to be one. It is super gentle on the skin and eyes, but removes/destroys makeup. I can and have used it on my eyes in the waterline area and never got blurry vision and no stinging. I have used up two bottles of it. Wanted to compare it with Garnier micellar water and got it. The Garnier one is good too, but I think once I am done with the drugstore version, I want to go back to Bioderma and stick with it. Sometimes, it takes a few trial run with other products to realize what a gem the original product was. I threw away both bottles, and so here is a picture from the internet!7. Bite beauty agave lip mask - The only lip product (apart from straight up lanolin) that nourishes a chapped lip back to health, overnight. I love the thick, gooey consistency. Love the smell and taste too! The thick balm covers, protects and repairs the lips. I got the tinted version first and fell in love with it and got the original untinted one too. Now I have one in my handbag and one on my night stand! Also I prefer the tube for sanitary purposes. The 15 ml tube lasts for a looong time, since you only need a tiny bit to cover the lips. It is expensive for a lip mask, no matter how amazing it is. I will repurchse it when I find a good deal. I got both my current tubes on sale. Will wait for a sale and stock up!8. Clinique moisture surge hydrated supercharged concentrate - I still remember the day my friend and I went to Sephora, a couple of years ago, and got a sample of this new and unique pink serum with tiny bubbles in it. I have been hooked on to it since then. I purchased a few sample size tubes of it to make sure I liked it and then got a full size last year. It is a great hydrating serum with glycerin and hyaluronic acid. It works well with the sandwiching between layers of mist. Makes my skin plum and supple. Has zero fragrance. Does not irritate my skin. I love using it when my skin is irritated. I use it everyday and love it. But It is slightly expensive for what it does. There have, since been an explosion of affordable hydrating serums in the market. And I want to explore the affordable options, before repurchasing this again.

9. Klairs soft airy UV essence SPF 50 PA+++ - I purchased the Gothamista x whishtrend skincare essentials box last year during thanksgiving, and one of the main reasons for the purchase, was to try this sunscreen. I am happy to say that I love this sunscreen! The texture is a dream! It spreads well, leaves no white cast. Gets absorbed into the skin quickly. It does not contain alcohol. The main reason I am gushing about this product is that it does not alter the layers of skincare underneath. It does not pill, does not leave a matte finish, does not leave a dewy finish. Id say it leaves a satin finish. I have applied it under foundation and had absolutely no issues. The formula is so elegant! I can not rave enough about this product. I have already repurchased another tube. The one negative point for me is the accessability. I got it as a kit the first time and got free shipping for the entire kit. But if I want to buy induvidual products from them, I have to either pay a shipping fee of $10 or buy for $69 to get free shipping. I am looking for other websites to buy from and will update if I find something.

10. Mac Fix+Prem+Prime spray - I like this mist in my skincare routine in between serums.

 These are the products, so far, in my skincare journey, that I have repurchased and love and keep coming back to. It has glycerin in it, which is a humectant. I also do occassionally use this as a finishing mist on top of makeup. A good, basic mist! This is my second bottle and will repurchase!

So, these are the products that I have repurchased during 2019. I am curious to see how many of these i will repurchase in 2020.
