Destination: Banff Ekiden Relay in October. A five leg relay in Banff, Alberta that Hostels International puts on each year. And out little team just sort of fell together. We started a Google Community to plan and tried to come up with a time and place for a meetup.
At the time, the only common connection between us was me - I knew everyone separately but no one else had met each other. Between that day and now - pretty much everyone had had a chance to actually meet and we were still trying to come up with a common meeting time. Then - all of a sudden TODAY ended up being free for us all.
Leana had to get a swim in for her half iron training, so the rest of us went for a quick run while she did that:

Super fun run...but this one was all about the coffee...so we rushed off to meet Leana at Good Earth.
We didn't really talk about the relay for more than 5 minutes, but it was a great meetup...I am really looking forward to getting into the planning with these ladies. This is sure to be one super fun race! Our costumes should be utterly EPIC!
Of course, put 4 bloggers in a room together and you'd think the cameras would be out every 3.5 seconds...and we all failed spectacularly and forgot to take our first team photo. Bet that NEVER happens again LOL.
