Red House Glory ‘Fever’

Red House GloryFresh faced rock bands are probably too numerous to count in London, one’s that catch your attention less so. Red House Glory is just that, attention grabbing. Their first EP was recorded live, and captures an incredible atmosphere, showing off the band’s extensive work in putting on live shows.

The title track ‘Fever’ opens with a bleak, but memorable guitar riff which opens up into the full band. Red House Glory has shown great arrangement prowess. Especially considering the difficulty associated with recording a live show. They weave parts together, know when and when not to play and create excellent dynamic moments throughout the song.

Verdict: All in all a solid effort that has made me go away and listen to the rest of the EP. Definitely one to see in the flesh.
