[re] Fresh Skin Therapy Lactic Acid Skin Peel

Lactic Acid 10% gel peel is an exfoliator designed to remove dead and damaged skin cells without irritation. The lactic acid speeds skin cell renewal and improves the skin’s ability to retain moisture.

I have sensitive skin so I was nervous using a lactic acid peel - the product name sounds harsh, and I had visions of my skin flaring up. It didn't by the way, it was both refreshing, and soft on my skin (I did test a big on the inside of my arm, and a bit on my jaw line before using it fully on my skin). 

For better results it's recommended to be used as part of the three-step system: I first cleanse my skin using micella cleansing water and then I apply the Lactic Acid skin peel. I finished off with my moisturiser.

The dropper is very handy and makes it easier to control the amount you want to use. To apply, I place a drop in the palm of my hands, rub it together and then apply to my face and neck, leaving it to soak in for 1 or 2 minutes, I then wash it off with cold water. It's now a regular part of my skin care routine.

The peel is an almost clear gel, but not too thick in consistency, it was easy to apply and spread around the area. Once applied there is a slight tingling sensation but the peel is very mild and my skin seems to tolerate it without flaring up.  It does have an unusual scent, a bit like vinegar

Good for dry skin, fine lines, wrinkles, anti aging, sun spots, keratosis pilaris, actinic keratosis, UV damage, skin lightening, skin brightening, skin bleaching, and melasma. I also use this for the back of my arms, where my skin gets bumps, on my knees and elbows, where my skin is dry.

There are different peels available for different skin types/issues, but I tried this one as it was best for sensitive skin.
