Rapid Fire is an Italian Power Metal band from Milan. It was formed in 1998 and it was active until 2005, then after a two-year break in 2007 picks up its musical career. These guys has a style heavily influenced by classical bands of European heavy metal like Running Wild or Iron Maiden, with fast and catchy guitar melodies.
Their first demo was entitled Rapid Fire (2001) and it contents three tracks, “The Rising March” which is a tranquil composition with great guitar melody and harmony, “The Tempest Of Fear” with nice tight riffs and “Red Passion” with electric guitars played with virtuosity.
In 2003 Rapid Fire release its second demo with a new singer. “Promo 2003″ is a demo with powerful classic heavy metal tracks like “Restless Soul”, “Fast Like The Fire”, “Wild Obsession” or the instrumental song “Dancing In The Pain”. This second demo obtained very good results and shortly after a record label showed its interest in Rapid Fire.
The band release an album entitled A Tribute To The Glory Of 80′s Metal in 2004, after that Rapid Fire release Scream! album in December of the same year with great songs like “Mirage”, “Strange” or “Coming Hope”, including tracks from “Promo 2003″ like “Fast Like The Fire” or “Wild Obsession”.
In 2005 the band entered a period of reflection that will last until 2007, in March of this year Rapid Fire will undertake several changes in the band’s formation.
After the entry of new members the band Rapid Fire begins to compose a new album entitled …Too Loud! with the characteristic Rapid Fire’s sound full of classic Heavy Metal.
