Yes, NOW! Don't wait, you know how damned intricate those blasted recorder-thingies are and admit it, it will take you at least three goes before you get it right. Anyway, there is a truly excellent film coming on BBC2 tonight, or 1.15 in the morning to be exact, and you really must not miss it. It is called The Secrets in Their Eyes and I suppose I should apologize because I know I have mentioned it several times in the past but I won't because you're bloody lucky to have someone like me looking out for ways to to enrich your miserable artistic lives, so there!
It is an Argentinian film which goes back and forth in time to tell the story of an obscure murder. It is tremendously well-acted and directed and leaves you with a juicy moral dilemma upon which you can chew gently for ever. I honestly think it would make it into my top FIVE favorite films - ever!
