Quick Creamy Tava Rice

Ingredients:
- 11/2 cups Boiled rice
- 1 teaspoon garlic (lehsun) paste
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1/2 cup finely sliced onions
- 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
- 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 3-4 tablespoon fresh curds (dahi)
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder or to taste
Method:
- Heat the oil on a broad and heavy bottam pan or tava (griddle).
- add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1-2 minute.
- Add the garlic paste and sauté on a medium flame for another 1 minute.
- Add the tomatoes, capsicum, turmeric, chilli powder and curds and sauté on a medium flame for 2-3 more minute.
- Add the cooked rice, cream and salt mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Serve immediately.
