I love doing TAG posts to let my followers get to know me a little bit better. Recently I jumped onto twitter and instagram to ask my followers what they wanted to know about me. Now I present to you what you wanted to know! Enjoy :-)
What are your least favorite types of posts to write?
This sounds like I am full of it, but I can honestly say none. As this is my own blog and I am essentially my own boss, I absolutely refuse to write about or do anything related to this that I dislike. My blog is my baby and my passion (I'm sounding more full of it by the second, but it's true). I really hope that this passion transfers to my readers through my posts.
Who is your ultimate style/beauty icon?
Hmmm this is actually a really tricky one. I don't have a true icon be it beauty or style. Instead I look to the street, blogs and magazines for inspiration. I love trends and being trendy but will never buy something just because it is trending. I have to love something to love it or wear it. If you are confident you can pull anything off!
What's your favorite eyeliner?
I don't actually wear a lot of eyeliner day to day. Pencil or kohl liners are generally what I go for, I especially love Maybelline and Napoleon Perdis liners. They both perform excellently and wear on me all day.
What would you spend $100 on if I gave it to you right now?
Without a doubt I would firstly pick myself up the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette (if I could actually find it in stock anywhere) and the Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream, I have been eying off that cream for a while now but am using up other products first.
How much do you spend a month on beauty goodies?
Eek! Such a tricky question to answer. No word of a lie, I honestly don't know. Makeup and skincare are my vice. I have a bad day, I buy a lipstick or a facemask etc. and the world seems like a better place. I am trying really hard at the moment to save for something that is kinda a HUGE deal... details will surface on the blog soon, so watch this space!
What is your favorite brand of lipstick?
Okay, I am pretty sure this is totally predictable, but M.A.C all the way. With so many colours and how well they wear and perform how can they not be my favourite?!
How do you get followers on your blog? Do you use bloglovin' or other methods?
I use various methods to promote my blog. I use bloglovin' (as I love following blogs on their myself), facebook, instagram and twitter. Twitter is an extremely powerful tool in networking and promoting. I also have the same name across all media platforms so my followers can find me easily.
What do you like about being a Beauty Therapist and Beauty Blogger?
I currently work as a Brow Specialist and love it. I love seeing the instant lift a good brow shape gives the face. You need to look after your brows people! They make a huge difference to your face and groomed brows make you look much more polished and put-together.
As for my blog, I love that I get to share my knowledge of beauty therapy and love of beauty with anyone that wants to read it. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have an excuse to spend my hard earned money on the things I love (makeup and skincare).
Would you like to visit New Zealand?
As a matter of fact, I already have. I have done the north and south islands about 10 years ago but would love to go back if the chance presented itself. I was so beautiful and I have many great memories of visiting with my family.
