Pyjamas are the latest thing in nightwear - inspired by Coco Chanel.

Posters advertising the new Chanel biopic, Coco Before Chanel, have created a stir because the cigarette that the actress, Audrey Tautou, should be holding has been substituted for a pen, in accordance with EU smoking bans, despite the burning truth that Gabrielle Chanel’s cigarettes were as much an accessory as her pearls.
Just as intriguing, however, is the fact that Tautou is pictured in a pair of men’s silk pyjamas, Mme Chanel’s own preference in the early 1900s. It was nearly two decades later that Claudette Colbert was seen wearing Clark Gable’s pyjamas in the 1934 film, It Happened One Night.
