Proud of My CPA Wife

Posted on the 05 May 2018 by Maria Snyder @MariaConsulting

My wife is a hard worker. We just finished her 21st tax season.

She’s a CPA a/k/a Certified Public Accountant who works away from home around 65 hours a week plus her half hour commute one way.  We’ve got a good system for managing our teenage daughters, it’s not perfect but we do it best with the best intent.  Isn’t that what matters, family is always first. We consider it a family effort.

Okay enough already blah blah blah but I’m proud of her. Proud of her for listening to me, for hearing me complain about politics, about the safe act, I’m just proud.

She used to do website design and social media management.  She was very good at it and helped a lot of small businesses in the area, then the inevitable happened.  Her work noticed her abilities as an auditor and as a tax practitioner, did I mention she is really kind, intuitive and knows her stuff?  Well they noticed and promoted her to Partner at the firm.

The firm is great, they’re good at taxes and auditing and they’re all good people.

Recently her firm hired a company to redesign the firms website.  Maria (the wife) was relieved in the sense that it was something she moved away from and was in the position to now hire (with the firm partners) a company to design and put together their website.

I had no idea how many tax and other specialties she and her co-workers and partners had! Check out their site: DiMarco, Abiusi & Pascarella, CPAs, P.C.

With our busy lives managing teen transportation, reloading for my gun hobby and preparing for mowing season since winter snow ended three days ago here in Syracuse, New York it’s been a while since I posted. Sorry for that I’ll be back soon.
