Integration of your social media presence is key to maintain a consistent message to sell or advertise.
As a social media manager, I am hired to promote clients and to service their Social Media needs. Raising awareness, advertising products and promotion of what they sell or have to say is my job. I skillfully use social media skills to connect with customers, complainers and competitors alike. Open communication and dialog is key.
Lately most traffic for http://mariasconsulting.com, where my click-able add to cart buttons are, is from Facebook and Twitter where I tend to be most active. I also recently integrated a Shop Now cart on Facebook. F-Commerce here I come.
I post to Linked In, Myspace and Reverbnation also but that’s because those sites are linked to Twitter. I can’t be on all four social networks at the same time so integration is valued and appreciated. Too many people would find my clone too organized so that is not an option. My clients are on some or all of the same networks. Now they have one of my secrets. I’m not worried because I enjoy sharing information with clients so they already know about my integration trick.
Calling yourself a promoter but not admitting you are selling as a social media manager is not advisable if you are online using social media. Put that fact out there. Telling your audience openly or passively to click here, read this, or buy now is acceptable. Your audience needs direction and to be told where to look and what to click. Attention spans of your on-line audience is short.
So here is my sell, yeah I’m working it!
