Dragonfly Tea are a British, family owned company with a heritage of sourcing and growing the finest of teas. Tea is one of the most popular drinks in the world, and with such a wide variety you’re almost certain to be able to find one (or many!) to your taste. I’m very much a ‘black tea’ kinda girl, but I do dabble in mint tea and white teas from time to time so am always on the look out for new brands I haven’t tried, and new varieties. A traditionalist at heart though, my favorite is always going to be a good old cup of English Breakfast!
When I was contacted by Dragonfly Tea, of course, I jumped at the chance to try their teas. A quick peruse of their website and I was already in love – their branding I thought was gorgeous. The watercoloured dragonflies central to their design were lovely, and dragonflies themsleves, being symbols for purity vitality and harmony across the world is a lovely ethos to have behind your company.
I chose a few teas to try;
- English Breakfast
- Indian Spice Chai
- Golden Himalaya
- Vanilla Rooiboos
Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been making my way through these, cup after cup. What a chore eh?! First off the Vanilla Rooiboos. I’ve not tried many Rooiboos teas, but this was by far the nicest I have. It’s infused with Madagascan vanilla which gives it a wonderfully smooth and naturally sweet taste. Rooiboos (or redbush) is only grown in a remote are of South Africa and is known for its natural goodness. For me this is great with or without a splash of milk.
