POLISH ME SILLY Guilty Pleasure Nail Polish Swatches & Review (Meet My Chromies Collection)

Hello lovelies,

here’s the second nail polish I have purchased from Polish Me Silly. I bought this shade to sort of help me survive until I get my hands on ILNP Undenied (still waiting for the discount code, lol). You can get Polish me Silly polishes from their etsy shop and they are available in both mini (9ml) and full size (15ml).

In the bottle Guilty pleasure shifts from purple to fuchsia, red and gold. I was absolutely in love when I saw it. Sadly, it is not as impressive on the nails. Granted, it is better than Holy Shift, but the multichrome effect still can’t compare to that of ILNP and Dance Legend.

The consistency is thin and the nail polish is sheer. I had no problems with application, but it required three coats to be completely opaque (or, alternatively, you can use one coat over black). On the nails it is mainly purple, and looks suspiciously similar to Holy Shift. However, the color shift is far more noticeable on this one. I can see pink and a bit of brownish red.

Under water – it looks amazing. The color shift is extremely strong.

To be honest, I think that my biggest issue with these multichromes is that they look so amazing under water, yet they are less impressive on the nails. Dance Legend and ILNP are more uniform – there’s no such a drastic difference in how they look on the nails and under water.

Swatches: 3 coats, no base/top coat)
