When I first moved to Los Angeles from Ohio, I went to college for my fashion marketing degree for 4 years, at the age of 18.
As soon as I was done with school, I decided that I wanted to break into the ‘styling’ industry in the entertainment world, and so I began working for 4 different stylists in industry.
As much as I love styling, and as much as I wanted to continue doing it, I realized that unless I was my own boss, I could never keep up with the schedule, because you basically never know when you’re going to book a job, so I never knew if I was going to get work for the month or not, and that just drove me to the wall.
Even though a lot of my styling experience has been with women/girls, I was ecstatic when Paul Fredrick approached me, asking for me to give my opinion on my favorite trends for fall, and dressing for particular body types.
When it comes to fall, I love a guy in a good old fashion crew neck sweater. Their easy, simple and a guy always looks that much better when he slides a dress shirt underneath it.
This one from Paul Fredrick is particularly my favorite, and it’s 100% cashmere.

I also have always had a love for quilted vests, especially if you’re in a state where ‘snow’ is a problem, quilted vests are the way to go.

Here are a few of my other favorite fall trends for guys, especially if you’re in cooler weather, unlike me over in here in 70 degrees.
Body Image:
As far as body image is concerned. Take it this way, most girls hate when a guy wears a super tight shirt, you may think that’s attractive, however most girls don’t.
Since the weather is getting colder, wear something that is loose and comfortable, so that you can fit on a few other layers of clothing, over what you’re already wearing, or under what you wearing. For instance, a dress shirt under a cardigan.
Loose clothing is more comfortable for you, and more attractive for us girls!
