Frog and I were invited to PAUL food tasting at Marina Bay Link Mall last Saturday to try out their new french classic main courses. PAUL refreshes its breakfast and main dine in menu with a delicious repertoire of new dishes, desserts and beverages.

The Marina Bay Link Mall area is pretty quiet on a weekend morning. Frog and I love the environment and will definitely be a great place for some quiet coffee or dining session.

We started the tasting event with a small bread basket served along with soft butter that is imported from France. Love the rich and buttery butter spread that compliments the crispy bread. Nom Nom.

Here are the 2 newly launch beverages that we had ordered:

Lemongrass Iced Tea & Rosemary Lime Ice Tea $7.50

Refreshing drink to perk up our appetite before the meal!

There are a total of 26 dishes in the new seasonal menu and we got the opportunity to try out 6 dishes.

Salade de la mer $20.90

Look at how vibrant and appetising the plate of salad. The salad ingredients include fresh sautéed prawn; mussels slice octopus, avocado, grapefruit and slices of red dishes. The grapefruit is really very sweet and the ingredients used are very fresh. Firm and crunchy prawn. The salad is one of my favourite dish!

Tartine (Open Sandwiches) Boeuf $19.90

Medium grilled Sirloin steak on a bed of herb cream cheese, caramelised onions topped with a dash of balsamic glazing. Bite size sandwich that is easy to eat!

Confit de canard $28.90

Slow roast herb marinated duck leg served with roasted vegetables and seasonal cranberry roast. The roasted carrot is very sweet too. Tender and succulent duck meat that was marinated for 2 days. It takes a lot of effort to prepare this dish. One word: Delicious

 Longe de thon $29.90

Seasoned Tuna loin grilled to perfection served with roasted vegetables and seasonal cranberry sauce. Love the colour of the tuna. So fresh and tasty!

Here comes the dessert:

Waffles with vanilla ice-cream $13.90

The waffle is very crispy and personally I will prefer waffle that is soft and fluffy in texture. The vanilla ice cream compensate for the waffle as it taste awesome and rich in vanilla flavour.

 Eclair Paris-Brest $7.50

Traditional choux pastry with hazelnut cream. Cream infuse with hazelnut flavour that is light and smooth. The caramel hazelnut and toasted almond flakes gives the whole elcair a crunchy bite texture. It is one of the must try dessert after meal.

With Christmas coming in less than 2 months time, PAUL will be a good choice for dining and festive celebration. Oh not forgetting, on 20th Nov onwards do checkout on PAUL Apricot and Cranberry Jam. Christmas gift idea just in case you guys will be shopping around for gift.

Thanks PAUL for the lovely and sumptuous meal.
