I did the exercise and realized I have too much black, white and blue/yellow (Why am I not even surprised?) I have enough of every color in my wardrobe (talking primary colors here). I would love for people to guess which color is non existent in my wardrobe - and the answer is brown.
Only the other day, Me and My Husband had a discussion on what colors look good on me and I outright rejected yellow and last weekend's exercise was sort of an affirmation for me. I really don't seem to pick up brown all that much. According to this site - Aversion to brown means a person who has an an aversion against normal, boring, trivial life.
Truer words have not been spoken. My biggest fear in life is falling prey to a dull, boring routine. I crave adventure. Maybe this time, I should start one by embracing shades of brown in my closet.
On that note, today's outfit is all about pastels because there will be never be a better time to wear pastels. I have paired a cami dress (worn here) with a lilac blouse and suede heels. I have accessorized the outfit with a polka dot clutch from ASOS and a coin necklace I found for a bargain. I have belted the blouse and dress together to bring a bit of coherence to all the sheer and flowy fabric involved.
