Global Raymac is seeking individuals to fill integral roles at our Grande Prairie location. We have immediate opportunities for Field Crew Party Chiefs for pipeline surveys, well site surveys, as-built and construction surveys as well as municipal surveying involving subdivision surveys and real property reports .
Primary Duties of a Successful Candidate include, but are not limited to:
- Working closely with Project Managers to coordinate work and ensure client needs are met
- Act as a representative of the company when dealing directly with land owners and client field representatives
- Ensuring projects are on time and on budget
- Mentor, lead, and train developing Survey Assistants
- Actively support Global Raymac’s safety program to ensure personal safety and the safety of those around you
- Contributing member to the industry to improve survey practices
- Accurately preparing field notes and digital data for transfer and calculation
Qualifications/Skills Preferred:
- Graduate of post-secondary program related to surveying and geomatics and/or have equivalent experience
- Able to hold a valid driver’s license and valid tickets for ATV, First Aid, and H2S
- Familiarity with recent survey equipment and software
- Good judgment in adverse climates and situations
- Able to support and uphold the professional reputation of the company and our industry
- History of strong leadership and field performance
- Strong, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to various personalities and a proven customer service orientation
- Accurate, precise, and thorough in data collection and recording
- Able to respond to feedback and adjust accordingly
- Excellent team player
