Pepper is my favorite condiment to use, perfect to add a bit of spice and seasoning to most dishes; I also use pepper a lot, but I have only ever had a grinder and never actually owned an electric one. So when I was offered to review the Ozeri Savore Soft Touch Electric pepper mill and grinder, I was looking forward to giving it a go.
Overall I am super pleased with it. At first it did take me a few turns to get used to it, as it is quite sensitive, and a few times I've inadvertently turned it on and made a small mess. But I do find it
comfortable to grip and hold, although I do struggle to change the settings, the button is a little stiff - but that is my only grumble with it. The on, off button, is positioned on the top of the grinder which allows easy access and use.There are 3 available settings: a light dusting, a medium grind, and a coarse grind. You use the switch to adjust your settings, it is designed so the adjuster features on both sides of the grinder, enabling you to grip it with you thumb and finger to turn the dial to the setting you desire.
It is a great tool to have in the kitchen; it is well made, a nice size and it is easy to use. I now want one for my salt.
It does need 6 AAA batteries and they are not supplied. You can buy one via the Amazon store for £12.95, which I feel is good value.
