Goood monday midday y’all! And unfortunately it’s that time of week again, Monday’s are just the woooorrrsst. It is almost impossible to feel creative or positive or energetic or anything similar. For a split second I woke up this morning and thought yeessss it’s sunday, aahhh, then reality hit like a ton of bricks that I had to get out of my warm bed and make my brother lunch, do the school run and go to work.
However, I did have a great weekend (which went really quickly!) with Kingsley.
On Saturday we decided on a day out in the Cotswold’s as Kingsley had never been before (I hope I took his Cotswold virginity with dignity!?). It was rainy in the morning (of course it was, this is England were talking about) but perked up in the afternoon. We just spent the day pottering in and out of shops, we had cream tea’s at the Small Talk Café, visited the Model Village and had a packed lunch on a bench! We then went out for drinks and a meal in the evening.
Sunday morning we went to an antiques fair and I bought a book from the 20′s which was in reference to the decade before on Edwardian Ladies, looks fairly interesting in a prissy kind of way! Kingsley began a love affair with a 20′s camera, which he kept giving the eye across the room and stroking it, then pining for it after he left without it; aahh loves young dream. So there begins a new hobby for him – antique camera collecting? Not the retro-ey types, but the older, concertinaed paper types. Then the afternoon we went to my grandma’s for roast din-dins and puppytime.
I have a couple of new bits of makeup and new brushes that I’ve just received and am really pleased with, so I will review those as soon as possible and some recommendations!
