Hey There,

As promised, here is my review on Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturiser (£23.00), featured in my January favourites post.

My regular readers will know how much I adore Origins products. They helped save my teenage skin, and still deliver great results now.

May I just start by telling you how incredible this gel moisturiser smells, it literally smells good enough to eat. A gorgeous soft orange scent. The smell itself instantly awakes your senses, so you can imagine what it does to your skin. Everything about this product makes me happy, the stunning warm orange packaging, the fresh blend of aromas, and its silky, soft texture.

The gel formula hydrates, but is oh so lightweight and oil free. It instantly melts into your skin, leaving it feeling soft and silky. It contains Panax Ginseng and Coffee Bean, to wake up and energise your skin. They have left out the anti-aging properties this time, and focused on reviving and repairing the skin in other ways. I would recommend this product for all skin types, but if your like me and like a deeper hydration then I would suggest accompanying the moisturiser with a serum or oil.

Of course as well as the face cream, I had to try out Origins Ginzing, refreshing eye cream, to brighten and de-puff, (£23.00). I’m not sure about you, but my eyes always give away how much sleep, (Well lack of sleep), I have had. This eye cream is perfect, and helps rescue you from a multiple of sins, no sleep, late nights, too much partying and too much alcohol. It contains Panax Ginseng and Magnolia which helps to revive your tired eyes, and provides light coverage and concealment of dark circles through a blend of optic brighteners. Unfortunately, it doesn’t smell as good as the day cream, but it hydrates the eye area, and provides a perfect base for any under eye make up.
