Coming back, I love hydrating, moisturizing, matte lipsticks on my lips and many brands have come with some awesome products to fulfill my craving - L'Oreal Pure Red Lipsticks (Read review), L'Oreal Moist Matte Lipsticks (Read review), Colorbar Deep Matte Lip Creme and recently Oriflame The One Matte Lipsticks (see Swatches). Oriflame The One Matte Lipsticks have great texture, nice pigmentation, settles to a matte finish and affordable price, What else you want in a good lipstick? So today I'll be reviewing 3 of my favorite shades from the range - Berrylicious, Pink Raspberry and Red Seduction.

My experience with the product
Oriflame The One Matte Lipsticks comes packed in a sturdy grey colored casing with a outer cardboard cover that has all the necessary information. The cap shuts tightly and would not open up in your handbag. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick tube. I'm not too fond of such packaging - because it is difficult to find a particular shade in need, I'd rather prefer color coded packaging, but guess gray is the staple color for Oriflame The One range.

The texture is very creamy, hydrating and moisturizing; easily glides on lips without tugging or pulling. The color does not settle on fine lines and doesn't accentuate the dry flaky/bits of the lips. The color pay-off is indeed well, both the light and bold colors have amazing pigmentation and cover up pigmented lips quite well. The formula settles to a semi-matte finish within seconds of application and stays for good amount of time, say 5-6 hours and also easily survives light snacks. The darker shades though stain your lips and lasts for fair 6-7 hours and wearing a lip liner underneath extends the wear time. The stain can be easily removed with a oil-based makeup remover.
