I regret not being into nail polish when OPI made those gorgeous holographic DS nail polishes. Today they go for a huge price on e-bay and, with all indie holos available, I was not willing to pay that much for a nail polish. Therefore, I hunted down several scattered holos from current DS range. The shades I’m talking about are Reflection and Extravagance.
Both shades have a great formula and they are super pigmented in one thicker coat. Still, I prefer to use two thinner coats. Even though they are scattered holos, they are beautiful. The photos do not do them justice – the sparkliness was pretty hard to capture.
Reserve is a cherry red scattered holo. In shadow holographic particles look like an ordinary shimmer, but they are very sparkly once the light hits them.
Extravagance is a reddish purple scattered holo. This one has a slightly stronger holo effect, particularly under bright light.
I like both shades, although my preference slightly leans towards Extravagance. Which one do you like the most?
