As some of you may know I'm a month into my final year of studies, and I have been freaking out over it. Regular "mini breakdowns" have become apart of my daily routine. For example, yesterday on my day off I managed to do university work for TEN hours... I also started to cry because my chincilla had chewed the little wire that keeps his water bottle on his cage, causing it to fall off and make my carpet really wet!
Clearly I wasn't crying over him biting the wire too much, it was just the straw that broke the camels back. Everything got to me a little too much yesterday and I was seriously contemplating packing a suitcase and just simply disappearing...
Obviously, that won't be happening and after a good nights sleep I felt much more refreshed this morning, but I knew as soon as I stepped foot into university again my brain would explode... So to prevent that from happening slightly I decided to tailor my outfit today around things that make me smile, and also things that remind me of all the amazing people I have in my life. Cheesy... But very true.

I'm such a girls girl that whenever I'm feeling a bit low my first port of call is to chuck a dress on and take extra care with my make up. My philosophy is that when you look good, you feel it too. So with that in mind, I threw on this simple black dress, but it also swishes really nicely so it made me feel extra girly this morning. I also got chance to don my new cat shoes! Aren't they the cutest things you've ever seen? I'm calling them Kourtney and Khloe. (Not after the Kardashians... Just a coincidence...) They were only £9.99 too! I really love ebay! Click here to check them out, they do cream ones too. They were a little tight, so I had to use the old socks and hairdryer trick to stretch them out. If you don't know what I'm talking about, google it. It's genius! 
I love all of the arm candy I'm rocking today. I rarely wear bracelets in favour of statement rings, however I love the look of bracelets all piled up, so I thought I'd give it a try. The red beaded necklace was brought for my by my boyfriends mom for my birthday and the pearly one with roses was given to me recently by one of my closest friends.The necklaces were also gifts. I love the Oscar Wilde one, my mom got it me for my 21st and the 'A' necklace was also a 21st present by another dear friend of mine. (Apparently it was made from an old typewriter key!) I also dug out a sample of my favorite perfume (that I can't afford to buy) and threw on my favorite earrings that my boyfriend brought me "just because". So, throughout today whenever I feel a bit low and stressed, I can just look down at my outfit and be reminded of the fact that I am truly blessed to have the people in my life that I do. Anyway, I better get back to work. Yes, I am writing this in the library when I should be doing work... Shhh.
