OOTD: Age of the Anonymous

OOTD: Age of the Anonymous
Forever 21 Bracelets · GUESS Sandals · Kohl's Bracelets My daughter took her first few steps about 2 weeks back after which all she has been wanting to do is walk around the house and have my attention at all times. So, I have been doing a lot of reading lately, both online and offline since keeping up with blogging has been a little difficult as you can judge from my absence here.
The more I read articles on the internet, the more I realize, how much this is the age of the anonymous. People use anonymous accounts to comment and hate upon other people. It is sort of like talking behind someone's back, only much worse. My mother taught me that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Something I stick to till date.

There is a difference between constructive and destructive criticism. Destructive criticism when you are anonymous is awful. If you say a mean thing and I know who you are, I could sit and talk it out with you.
Imagine though, someone said something really mean about you and you heard it from someone else who heard it from someone else altogether and you just can't backtrack who it was? Were they angry with you for some reason? Were they having a bad day and you just happened to pass by and got trolled?  That's internet for you. If you don't have anything nice to say, say it on the internet.  I have not had something like this happen to me here on the blog. I have had people comment and then delete those comments. I just assumed maybe they said something inappropriate and decided that it just wasn't worth putting up on my blog.
I have days when I don't have the greatest outfit pictures, I have days when I am bloated, sleep deprived and/or tired and I have had days when I felt like giving up blogging altogether because nothing is more important to me than my child's happiness. Whether she needs 10 minutes, 24 hours or 5 years of my attention, she will have it.
I may end up with not so great pictures on that day or only a few pictures. My hair might be a mess and I might not have had the time to accessorize my outfit to a T but I try and I applaud every other woman who does.

People have got to go easy on other people and learn to be kinder. If you need to be anonymous to express your opinion, how do you actually stand up for yourself in real life? A thought to ponder on.
For today's outfit, I am wearing a netted floral skirt (Love at first sight) with a black top and Lace up sandals. I have added gold accessories to the outfit to let the skirt be the focal point of this outfit.
Do let me know your thoughts on the outfit and what you think of anonymous comments.
