Hey there,
Being an ex Benebabe, there is not a lot I haven’t tried or at least played around with from the Benefit counter. rel=”nofollow”One Hot Minute is one of those Bronzers I don’t really hear a lot about, and I don’t think I’ve seen one in any of my friends make up bags. I just think it must be one of those wonder products, which just gets overlooked, or outshone by its fellow face powders. I mean, come on, who doesn’t go straight for the rel=”nofollow”Hoola at first site, or instantly think of Hoola at the mention of a Benefit bronzer, I’m just as guilty, as I know I do.
One Hot Minute has been in my life for a while, and just like I said, I have neglected it, opting for other finishers over this one. What I had done was underestimates it’s potential, and now I have rediscovered it as a multi tasking finishing powder. Personally, the sparkles and shimmer put me off putting this powder on my face, especially on a day to day basis. But it does provide a gorgeous finish to the skin when applied lightly, (No product happy business), over the top of another bronzer or a natural tan. What I have been using mine for recently is the body. Yes thats right, it is such a great powder for the body, especially over that collar bone and chest area. The rose gold bronzed shimmer, really picks up under the light, highlighting those areas but with a sunkissed look, (What more could you want, right?). It is beautifully subtle, and perfects my golden (But fake) tan, ready for day to night looks, blending in effortlessly.
As always I absolutely adore the packaging, Benefit never fail to deliver when it comes to their creativity and image. It is a round container with clock detailing, (Get it, one hot minute?) with a handy shaker, which is used to gently tap out the powder in to the lid, before dipping the brush in.
Have you heard of Benefits ‘one hot minute’?Are you a matte or shimmer kinda person?
Lots of love,
