Actually, I am assured that Sidmouth is far from 'sodding' and that it is, in fact, a seaside town of great charm and some antiquity. Anyway, armed with bucket and spade and pocket money for the ice creams and, I hope, the Punch and Judy man, that's where I'm off to for today. My goodness, what a whirlwind of exotic pleasures my life has become.
