This post is about 2 things - Floral Denim & Pregnancy.
For all of you who might have been wondering why did I limit my outfit posts to about 1 post a week. Here's the thing - I am into my 8th Month of Pregnancy right now and No, I am not used to my pregnancy body changes.
I have, until last month, tried fitting myself into my old clothes with disastrous results and taken it to a point where my hubby dearest has had to put his foot down and say " I am not going out with you like that". Rather, there have been times when I have looked in a mirror and said to myself " No, You are N-O-T heading out like that".
Like everything in life, This is a challenge too, in terms of everything - Life Changes, Attitudes and of course, Fashion & Style.  I have had to conjure outfits that suit my new body in the past few months.
However, I have successfully been able to avoid the maternity section in most stores so far except a few exceptions here & there. So, Yaay to that!
As I mentioned, this is my 8th month and the D-Day isn't too far. So, You guys will have to excuse my negligence of the blog for a few weeks after the D-Day. Until then, I promise, I will keep going for as long as I can. Do wish me luck though.
About the other thing, it took me a while to take to Floral pants/denims. Another good thing about these is that they still fit me despite the baby bump.

It is a print that can feel too overwhelming, if not done right. So, I gave it a skip last summer. Then in Fall, I would sift through pictures on Pinterest and still be terrified of it.
However, this summer, I just had to buy a pair. One, because I have been too deprived of color around me lately and Second, the best way to get over your fears is to face them, Right?
I wore these skinny jeans with a hi-lo metal tip blouse from Forever21 and Glitter Flats. The best way to let the floral print stand out is to pair it with neutral colors.
As for pregnancy and my new found love for flats, I will be writing an elaborate post soon!  What do you think of this look? How are you wearing this print in Spring/Summer?
