NYX is a brand I’ve always wanted to try, but never had access to, until I learned that in Canada, you can purchase NYX makeup at Rexall Pharmacy. I certainly don’t need any more makeup in my life, but I’ve always wanted to get these eye shadows so when I sawit, I couldn’t resist. It reminds me a lot of the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and the Naked Basics palette.

For one thing, the Caviar and Bubbles palette is very affordable and has great value for what you pay.Case in point, some of the most expensive drugstore eye shadows are the L’Oreal ones, which are not very good in terms of quality, yet you pay $10-$12 for a quad. On the other hand, the NYX Caviar and Bubbles palette costs only $15 for 10 good quality eye shadows.

What I like about the palette is that it has everything you need to create a variety of natural eye looks. There are several light shimmery lid shades, some warm crease colors, taupe, peach, light pink, dusty lavender, dark brown, black, and a white highlighting shade. They feel smooth to the touch, almost creamy and they also blend well and are highly pigmented to boot. I would say that these are much better than the Maybelline Eye Studio eye shadows and the L’Oreal eye shadows, and they feel most similar to the Wet n’Wild eye shadows. If you're a lover of subtle, natural makeup, or the Urban Decay Naked palettes, then you may enjoy the NYX caviar and bubbles palette as well.
